Team Liquigas’s chase to success will start from Spain. Eight green-blue riders will be in Navarra and Basque Country for three historical appointments. 

The first, planned on Saturday 4th April, is the Gran Premio Miguel Indurain which will employ the cyclists on 191 kilometres of climbs and descents. On Monday the group will move to Ataun for the departure of Vuelta al Paìs Vasco, race composed of six stages that will end on  Saturday 11st April with an individual time-trial in Zalla city. On Sunday 12nd April there will be the final appointment, the Klasika Primavera: 171 kilometres with start and finish in Amorebieta.

Liquigas will be present with a tough line up, suitable for hard Spanish route team. Roman Kreuziger and Vincenzo Nibali will be the team leader, ready to set on fire the race on climbs and in time-trial stage. With Kreuziger and Nibali there will be present agile riders like Valerio Agnoli, Andrea Noè, Ivan Santaromita and Oliver Zaugg, as well as two long distance rider like Brian Bach Vandborg and Alessandro Vanotti. Directeur sportif Dario Mariuzzo and Mario Scirea will give the orders.
