It's Ardenne Classics time for Cunego and Lampre-NGC. Damiano will reach Holland on Saturday morning in view of Amstel Gold Race, race in which he will take part on Sunday with team mates Bandiera, Bono, Gasparotto, Gavazzi, Mori Manuele, Righi and Santambrogio.
Cunego's aim is to try to repeat the outstanding performance showed last year that gave him the victory on Cauberg arrival, as confirmed by the blu-fucsia captain: "In these early months of the year I worked with my team mates in order to be ready for these races: Amstel is the first main appointment; I'll be there with the necessary calm".
Same thoughts by sport director Copeland: "We're satisfied by what we've performed until now: the cyclists trained in a haed way and they're willing to do good things. Cunego will be supported by all the team mates that has raced with him".
In blue-fucsia staff there will be doctor Guardascione, masseurs Borgognoni, Capelli and Inselvini and by mechanics Bortoluzzo, Bozzolo and Carminati.
