This morning NAS arrested Gianni Da Ros, 22 years old, neo-professional rider of team Liquigas. Da Ros was in training camp with the track Italian team in Padova. As far as know, the arrest of Da Ros is included in a biggest operation about doping substances trafficking in gyms. Team Liquigas, as Italian Cycling Federation too, have absolutely nothing to do with the event.

Team Liquigas decided immediately to suspend the rider. If the responsibility of Da Ros will be confirmed, the Italian team will immediately dismiss him and could reserve the right to sue him for damages.

The Italian Cycling Federation has suspended him for the activities of the Italian team.
